OMGoodness! I guess it's been a while since I've blogged. I knew this would happen...sorry. And then to add insult to injury I've succumbed to peer pressure once again and some friends from church talked me into a Facebook profile! Dude, seriously?! Now I spend all my free time (and time I should be doing other things...who am I foolin?) putting "flair" on my freakin' "corkboard". I did get to IM on Facebook with my step daughter last night. Always fun chatting with her. She's so funny - she thinks it's amazing I'm on Facebook now. Dude, seriously?! I'm not that old!!! So now between Facebook and this blog I have all sorts of things I can wittle away my time with...LOL!

Happy Veteran's Day!

I just wanted to take this moment to say Thank You to all the veteran's from our armed forces. And especially to my husband who served over 23 years in the U.S. Navy. I truly do not believe the average American comprehends all the sacrifices that our service men and women endure to protect this great land of ours. I know I didn't until I met my husband. So if you know a veteran, please say Thank You to them. But not just today when there's a holiday and a day off as a reminder, but say it always in your words and your actions. And to all the veteran's who might read this...Thank You from the bottom of my heart. Your service and sacrifice has not gone unnoticed by me.

Wall Art

Ok, so my dear friend Sarah from church so graciously pointed out to me that it has been a while since I blogged. Thank you Sarah! Actually she's right though, I was sick for nearly two weeks. Lovely! I still feel the after affects at times. This too shall pass. That's been my favorite saying this month!

Ok, so I have been a little busy anyway. I've been inspired by all the wall art that you see in the stores and I would always think to myself, "I can do that."... so I did! I created these three 10x8's, Faith, Hope & Love and printed them out and framed them. My foyer (is that what it's called nowaday's?) has been completely bare since we bought this house back in Feb so it's been bugging me and with the holiday's coming I knew I had to do something. So here is the result. I love when a project comes together...

I used a bunch of different designer's papers but most notably I used several from Candesigns.

Hmmmm...I'm thinking Christmas presents!

Hello Friends and Happy Wednesday!

Well, today is World Blogging Day today. Since I'm very new at blogging I'm not quite sure what that means. Maybe I'm supposed to blog something today. So since I'm typing does this count? Anyway. I've succumbed to peer pressure! My own little corner of the web. If you happen to be one of the only handful to see this please be patient. I'm learning the layout and setting by trial and error. Like the slideshow for instance. In the mean time if anyone want to give me some suggestions or how-to's it would be greatly appreciated.
